Hair extension applications can be done professionally or depending on the type of hair extensions you are using and method. There are glue ins, sew ins, micro bead, tape in and clip in, and they also have the halo where there is no application! 

  Plus for each method there are different ways you can do it.   But with that in mind if you are paying a lot of money for your extensions and to be sure its done right I would recommend to have them applied professionally.

Trust your instincts..........

Trust your instincts, if you are sitting in the salon chair and you feel the communication isn't there and your not comfortable about having that person do your hair, get up and leave!  You can do it graciously, 

bottom line your hair your money and honestly if you want to know the truth we as stylist want you to be happy and would rather you not stay if you are not or to go with some one else.  If you are with a stylist that doesn't seem to care clearly time to leave!

Get daring with your hair and try that Hi Lite or Color you have been thinking about.  Look at pictures on the net of what you really like and bring it in to the salon so you can find out whether you can get it with what you have now and how if it will look right on you.  If you are going to a true professional stylist they should lead you in the right direction.
