Thankful Hairdresser

Giving thanks is always welcomed at Thanksgiving.  I am very thankful for all my clients who have been so loyal to me, without them I would not be in business.  Thank you to all my wonderful clients!

Deep Conditioning

When you shampoo your hair towl blot so there is not any excess water in your hair. Apply a good conditioner and cover your hair with a plastic cap. Heat opens up the cuticle of your hair which is the outer layer so your hair can aborb all the protein and moisture you are putting in, so if you can warm a towl to wrap around your hair covered with a plastic cap(shower cap) or heat up with a blow dryer or sitting under a dryer would be very beneficial! Rinse after 20 minutes.

Hair color/ take a chance

Saturday I had a client for the first time and she pretty much told me go a head and cut I like it short.  Go ahead and hi lite, or color what ever you think.  She took a chance, and I must say she looked updated when she left.  She came in looking a little tired and washed out, and left with a nice deep shade of auburn and an updated hair cut!  She loved it

Give yourself a lift during hard times

Most often the holidays approaching can leave us depressed or financially strapped. But I can say to give yourself a lift budget your grocery list, get creative with casaroles and go into a hair salon and treat yourself to a manicure, or pedicure, hair color or hair cut. Feel good about yourself and always take time for you. Go for a walk get your cirulation moving, and do for you.

After Halloween Hair

If you are one that put a lot of hair spray on your hair with or without color at Halloween you may want to clarify your hair to be sure to get out left over residue on your hair.  Mix a TBP of baking soda to 8 oz of warm water and put in after you shampoo, comb through.  Leave on for a few mintues than rinse and follow up with conditioner.  Have a great day :)
