Keratin

Keratin is great for taking frizz out of hair.  But there is some Keratin that does have formaldehyde and even some hair straightening chemicals. So do your research before you get a treatment on the product used and look it up online and you can even call the distributor for questions if you feel you should.  You want to know exactly what is put on your hair and if its for your type of hair.  Also know the maintenance afterwards.  Using a Keratin shampoo and conditioner is necessary and its best to use the same product line of the Keratin that was put on your hair.

Do you ask your stylist to thin your hair?  If you have very thick hair thinning your hair can get rid of some bulk, look more tame and cooler in the summer.  But I can say thinning your hair creates bulk as your hair grows out.  So unless you have very thick hair you may want to be sure thinning is what you want.  If you have wavy curly hair when your hair is growing in you will get a lot of bulk because curly wavy hair creates bulk anyway along with the shorter pieces growing in. Just know you have to keep up with hair thinning to keep your tame look.

Short Hair Ideas

Short Hair Ideas can be fun putting color with a kick (reds, plums, darker), or some fine hi lites all over or the bang area.  Cut fringe around the face and neck line or cut sharp blunt lines around the neckline and over the ear.  Point cutting all over so you have a shaggy blow and go type of look.  If you have really curly let it go!  Have fun with curl and live sasssy and carefree!  Tight curl, loose curl, its all great :)  Long bangs, short bangs, long sides, short sides, you can be creative with short hair.

When it comes to shampoo and conditioner you wont see huge results right away especially if your hair in need of conditioning.  You want to give it a month to work. As your hair gets repaired and reconditioned your shampoo and conditioner and styling products may need to change.  Seasonal changes will affect your hair which will  mean the product you use may need to change.    Organize what you have according to season and or your hair condition, consider if you are coloring, hi lighting, straightening etc.  Time to spring clean under your sink and get organized , clear out what you know doesn't work, and remember recycle the plastic and if the products are organic or natural you may be able to use it on your pets if you ask your local veterinarian

Frizzy Hair?

Frizzy Hair needs product on it!  Some frizzy hair is dry and the texture is courser, and some is fine and healthy but just frizzy. 
So if your hair is dry use hydrating shampoo, a good conditioner, and or a leave in conditioner/serum ( White Tea Magical Serum by Scruples works great)  and a frizz control gel and hair polish/oil type finishing. 
If your hair is not dry a shampoo for normal or oily to normal with a daily conditioner or a leave in conditioner that keeps hair soft along with a smoothing gel for frizzy hair.  If you lack body but you still have frizz there in a product by scruples called "Silk Control" that is a huge seller that smooths the hair but still gives you body.

Low Lites Fading

Low Lites fading can be common.  If you hair is very light and you wash with a shampoo that is not gentle for colored hair, products can make it fade as much as washing it daily.  Unless you have oily hair most do not need to shampoo everyday.  Sometimes you need to build your hair strength and condition of the hair in order for the color to take properly and stay for a while without fading too much.

Ashy Color in your Low Lites

Ashy Color in your Low Lites will happen if you don't use gold and/or reds in your color.  Natural levels and letter A (ash) or N (natural) on the color box will give you some ash tones on top of blonde hair.  In order to get darker shades on blonde hair you must put some red pigment in the color because blonde hair as gray hair there is no red pigment which is needed to darken to brown shades and darker.
