Cover your hair in the sun especially if you have colored treated hair. The sun is pretty strong and will fade your color. Some color when it starts to fade will turn on the red side. If that happens you may have to go in the salon for a quick color wash which will help tone it down until your next appointment. If you have natural hair the sun can bring natural high lights to your hair which you may like, if so keep your hair uncovered! If you have thinning hair or balding it is definitely wise to cover your head to avoid too much sun exposure and sunburn.
